Today was a milestone for me. Someone actually offered to pay me to give them a crash course in photography. It’s definitely encouraging to have the respect of friends (and in this case, a friend of a friend) when it comes to photography.
We met at a coffee shop in Georgetown and talked about composition, metering, and things like that. Then, just as I did with the photography group, we put that into practice and took photos around Georgetown. I stumbled across this random pattern and really liked the way the light was hitting it. Here is the shot in context.
