Occasionally I wrap up a shoot feeling like I’ve utterly lost my creative edge. I’ve been there twice this week, and it started to really bring me down. I needed something creative, something new to remind me that photography is fun, so I called up my friend Isabel and said, “Hey, do you wanna hang out with me in a really dark, sketchy part of town tonight?” (er, something like that…) She gladly accepted and invited Aaro to join us as well.
The three of us spent about three hours playing with off-camera lighting, giving high fives, and making some fun photos. I didn’t take a single picture, but it was exactly what I needed turn my attitude around. Thanks friends!!
Well done! Sounds like a fun activity and lots of creative impulse. I love it!
