Christians should be leading in the Arts. As children of the Author of creativity, our work should be second to none. The industries of this world should be looking to us and saying, “What do they have that we don’t?”
“Criticize by creating.” -Michelangelo. We need to hold others to a higher standard by what we do and what we create, not just by what we say.
Excellence is not an option, but a necessity. We can’t do mediocre work “in the name of Jesus” and expect it to prosper.
“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings.” -Proverbs 22:29
“Whatever you do, do it with all your might, and do it all for the glory of God.” -Ecclesiastes 9:10 1 Corinthians 10:31
“Nothing works unless you do.”
Knowledge is always accompanied by responsibility. We should take our thoughts captive and ask God what He is asking us to do with the knowledge and ideas He has given us.
Seek Inspiration. Dig into the Word. Pray for wisdom. Soak in His creation. Try something different. Never stop learning.
Fear regret more than failure. Take risks. Be bold. Chase a dream that is destined to fail if God doesn’t come through.
Remember the Sabbath. God designed us to work for six days and then take a day of rest. There is no better formula.

My work is a life in progress. The things I do are a result of the work God is doing in my life. My life does not revolve around my work; rather my work is an overflow of the LIFE inside me.
