Welcome to NYC!!
Just for you, Eva.
I made a map of several cool places to see and things to do. You won’t have time to do all of it; just use it as a reference as you move about the city. Chances are you’ll be near some of these places at some point. Map is also embedded below, but it may not load properly…
CitiBike is a great way to get around and see the city. If you have the Lyft (car-share) app, then it’s a breeze to unlock a bike. Feel free to use my referral code if not. I think it saves you some money…
Food Stuff:
I don’t care much about food, but it’s big part of traveling for most people. This list from Bon Apetit is pretty widely regarded as the best of the best restaurants around town.
They also made it into a nifty map.
Philharmonic in the Park is happening this week!
This is one of those fun annual events that locals love, but, like most things in NYC gets crowded and you may have to wait longer than you’d like. Nevertheless, since you’re in town this week, and staying near Central Park, it might be worth checking out. Details here.
Outdoor Movies at NYC Parks
There are outdoor films all over the city, but the top spot during your visit is Bryant Park. More film details pasted below.
