“Unlike a painter, a photographer starts with something finished and works backward.” -Anonymous
Background: My interest in photography grew out of the desire to make films. Given that I didn’t have access to a motion picture camera, I figured a study in photography was the next best thing. In fact, the most influential “photography” book I’ve read is actually about cinematography and directing.
I got my first camera in December of 2003, but it wasn’t until October of 2005 that I really began to pursue photography. For eleven months in 2006 I led a local photography group called Just Shoot Me. Currently photography is the driving force of my business, and I am writing a book for aspiring photographers.
